Meet Lilly (by Wild Place)

I’m very sad to report that Lilly passed away last week. She arrived at Australia Zoo in the early 1980’s and was thought to be around 35-40 years old. She was one of the oldest and largest pythons in captivity. She was so beautiful.
I miss photographing at the beach at sunrise, but now that we’re on the verge of winter, it’s slightly inconvenient!
After climbing all over me, scratching me and chewing on my shoes, these little piggies were quite buggered out!

Hello my freaky darlings. I apologize for the slow running of this blog, it’s been a while since i’ve done any photography plus i’ve taken some time off from volunteering. I will, however, be in Sydney on the 9th of June, visiting Taronga Zoo aswell as other wildlife sanctuaries and the aquarium so there will tonnes of new photographs!

Thanks to everyone who has kept following <3

Alligator (by Wild Place Photography)

Just like to let you all know that one of our Southern white rhinos is pregnant and is due to give birth in April next year. This will be the first calf for mum, Inyeti and dad DJ, though we suspect they will be good parents, as both have been very good with our one year old, Savannah!
